描述
Just a simple tweak to remove the campaign unit cap for the Spartan units (Hoplites, Pikes, Heroes & Royal Spartans), because no other faction has to deal with such strict limits, why should we? Heroes of Sparta are good, but not limit 2 only good. I am well aware that Radious's most excellent mod does this and more, but for those who just want to remove the unit cap, enjoy!

It could be more accurate if the player is able to expand Rome more then it every got in real life.

this is a greate mod but the limit is because of historical accuracy, sparta has much population but there was never much Spartiates, most of the popultaion was helots or perioeci. in the reality there was never more than about 8000 Spartiates at the same time especially not after the Boeotian League defeated sparta which caused much losses. Spartiates was the only real citizens and the only ones who had civil rights. Having only about 8000 Spartiate means also there never existed more than about 8000 spartan soldiers at the same time because all other soldiers in the spartan army was perioeci and helots. But at the time rome 2 plays there was even less spartiates since the number of spartiates decreased to about 1000 in 330 b.c. and the game starts in 272 b.c.

So the limit is historically accurate but i personlally really like the idia of this mod. :)

Run the game with it, if the game hits he main menu then it should be working. Though I ran another mod tha claimed to be patch 10 compat but I still have spartan hop limits. :/

v @ ThePuppetMaster, I had all his mods also. I think when the new patches came out he took them off instead of updating them. Those spear cohort were soOo beast 8D\ Also I need this spartan mod updated to patch 8 please 8D\

@ VICKERS Unfortunately not. Ever since the most recent update, I can't even start RTW without it crashing, even without any mods at all. :( Can't start fixing this till I get that sorted. (Honestly, you'd think CA could make a patch without breaking their own damn game)

Can someone make a legionary spear cohort mod. It was in the workshop before i dont know who made it but all of his mods are gone now. He made alot of various units for rome faction like legionary archers and roman cataphracts.
