描述
No more messy resource list! Display only resources you really want to separately and with icons!

To activate: subscribe to mod, then activate it in "Mods" list, from game starting screen. Restart will require.

For any new colony, resources saved as favorite will be displayed automatically after first time discovered by colony.

Features
  • Enhanced resources screen by having certain resources as favorite in separate screen
  • Ability to add/remove resource from favorite
  • Ability to preserve list of favorite resources between sessions and new colonies
  • On new game, if you already have favorite resources they will automatically show up once discovered in this colony

Additional options
  • Ability to set update rate for favorite resources (1 second by default)
  • Option to enable background for favorite resources screen

-----> Troubleshooting <-----
  • Make sure you activated mod in Mods list in-game and restarted the game.
  • Make sure you use the last version of mod, to do so: use my other mod Mod Manager and use Update button in mods list to force update mod via Mod Manager, which will require a game restart (Steam can often give you outdated version, my mod made to solve this).
    You can check current actual version number in changelog here:

    And you can check which version of the mod you exactly have by checking .dll version inside the mod folder: \mods\Steam\1872111766\
  • If you have game crash and have other mods, disable those mods, restart the game (or it won't take any effect) and try again.
  • Clear mods files cache, this should be done not from steam client menu option, but directly via file manager (explorer), in my discord, there is a guide on how to do so https://discordapp.com/channels/611802435220144148/612697981740777494/732211642410205260 (you should join Discord first, link below)

Mod code or part of it not allowed to be modified or/and published under the third-party name, fully or partly. Mod permitted and made to be used only in the existing form in the game Oxygen Not Included for end users.

The new update fixed the crash. A suggestion for the mod: make the list of planetoids configurable. In vanilla, every planetoid you have visited is on the list, and late game the list is very long, but most of the planetoids I don't care about.

FavoriteResources release version 1.3.15.186 is available on Steam!
+ Compatibility with update: 701625 (click on gear icon causing crash)


If you have issue, most likely you have outdated version from Steam. In this case, use ModManager to force update the Mod. Can be get from steam or GitHub.

I crashed when clicking the gear to change which resources are favorited using 1.3.14.180 opened an issue on github using the provided link to O-n-y/oxy.mods :steamthumbsup:

Game crashes clicking on the config button. Tried without any other mods and with mod manager but same.

The mod is checked and fully compatible with Last release version of the Game
Including Nov QoL Update.

If you have issue, most likely you have outdated version from Steam. In this case, use ModManager to force update the Mod. Can be get from steam or GitHub.

Whats the difference between this mod and the vanilla game? just the icons and a different color? i can already display only the resources i want. What i was searching for is a mod that sorts that list by type, for example. Does this mod do that?

If Steam not updating the mod and you have a crash because of outdate version you have
- use Mod Manager:

Also, for those who asked for switches between sets of mods i made a separate mod with minimal game API connect, so should be stabe even between game patches :squirtyay:

This does not work currently, as numerous others have reported.
