📯 This mod is compatible with 1.35.* EU4.
⚠️ Ignore the EU4 launcher warning you about this mod being outdated. Minuscula Borders only changes few image files and this mod will work just fine unless Paradox changes how borders are drawn.

Simple and Clean - Minuscula Borders!
Minuscula Borders is a simple modification of the province border and state border textures, inspired by the look of their analogues from Imperator:Rome.

  • Province borders are black, stripped and faded.
  • State borders are now bifurcated, bolder than province borders, stripped and slightly faded.
  • Textures are not jagged and dissipate nearly completely, maintaining texture detail enhancing the look of the map.
  • Borders are still well-visible in moderate zoom levels (Tested in 1080p).





This mod is Ironman Compatible and can be safely used with the vast majority of other graphical mods for EU4.
This mod is incompatible with other mods changing the look of the province and state borders.

@Epic Gamer You can change the said texture in this mod by copying a black border from another mod and putting it in the mod files.

@Valenerus I mainly reduced the brightness across the board (water + terrain). Let me know if you'd like to see the exact changes I made to the constants.fxh file

Minuscula Borders has been updated for 1.30.x EU4.
