描述
Orbital Satellite Uplink

The Orbital Satellite Uplink is an End-Game structure for Extinction (or other maps that use the Orbital Supply Drops), which shows all active OSD or Element Vein events on a map, and allows you to create a new event - for resources.

The Uplink needs to be powered by a Tek Generator, at which point it'll automatically track any active events and show them on the map. No longer is it required to fly around the entire map looking for events, just to find nothing at all, or only an Easy Crate that would be a waste of your time.

The map will show you both the location and the quality of Orbital Supply Drops and Element Veins, as well as indicate if a Drop has not landed yet, or a Vein has not fully grown yet, by pulsing the icon. Specifically Element Veins can take several minutes to grow after the initial spawn event, which gives the map an edge even over the keenest of explorers.

Additionally, as a true End-Game feature, the Uplink allows you to request new Orbital Supply Drops, or instruct the Satellite to stimulate an Element Vein to spawn - at a specific location of your choosing, as well.

Requesting a new Drop or Vein will require resources to be placed into the Uplink. Currently choosen resource is Corrupted Hearts, 25/50/100/250 for Easy/Medium/Hard/Legendary events respectively.

You can configure the costs of event spawns, as well as disable them entirely.

Notes
- I'm not a designer, therefor the model of the structure and the artwork in the UI are still pretty rough, and subject to change
- The building cost of the structure, as well as the amount and/or type of resource for spawn requests will need balancing, and are subject to change
- The Mod should function on any map that includes the Extinction-style OSD/Element events

Hi. How can I keep the Orbital Satellite Uplink permanently unlocked? With each restart, it locks itself. I can't set a password either

Does this mod stop the structure destruction that occurs with OSD's by default either when you spawn the drop in with the mod or otherwise?

can you add a new config option that will remove the decay timer?

i have it setup so they dont req power, cant be destroyed, and blocked from player construction. I placed a few throughout the map so peeps can go to set locations to use them. it would be nice to not have to remember to log in to refresh the decay timers on them.

well... instead of thinking of it already been added to simple spawners i decided to describe how fitting the same idea "would be" - thanks!
for now that will be my approach then until any specific valg-osd/vein-mod pops up, much appreciated!
