Professional Magician Class Mod 1.1

描述
This mod adds the Magician class to the playable classes. The idea behind it was not a fixed mechanics, but a prioritization of the playing style of Magic the Gathering. Of course, the focus was not on the mana mangement, but on having as many and flexible deck options as possible through the individual cards. The class should become a mixture of the already very good Mystic class, whereby I wanted to extend this by additional not pure Damage options. Mainly the balancing is done by the fact that strong cards also have corresponding disadvantages, so that a strategic component arises when playing the cards. Of course I don't know if I succeeded, but I have been very satisfied with the mod in my own games so far. At the moment the mod includes 97 cards, which will be extended by additional action effects added by the developer. As a tribute to the game I deliberately chose the symbol of MTG, as well as the card graphics with my own interpretation of the card. I emphasize that the card graphics are not from me, but almost exclusively from the original Magic the Gathering cards.

If someone has balancing suggestions or experiences problems, I would be grateful for a feedback, because even with many own rounds with the class, sometimes errors happens which one simply overlooks.

Yeah, Gurrflumfr is correct, Zero to Hero is really overpowered. I don't even have other races unlocked besides human, and I was already touting a beastly Toucan who could oneshot everything in sight xD

Even without unique summons, I was able to cycle through fast enough to get the card that boosts Ally Lifetime (at the cost of health) often enough that I also had some Lv.11 Dwarf with me who was even stronger than the Toucan, and with a Lifetime of 20+ turns and counting 8)

Thanks for the info. I hadn't tried other races yet and therefore didn't know about the unique summons. A really good hint. I have only ever played with human cards and therefore I never had the idea that some cards of this class might be too strong in combination with an other race . I will play more soon and see how I can balance it better. Had already written with Raven and in the next patch there will be the possibility to set a minimum deck size. I will adjust this so that one is "forced" also the random component to consider. With the real MTG you can also have very strong and good cards and still it can just happen that you don't draw the right card. If the deck is too small in ER, the builds usually power themselves too high, so I hope to be able to intervene through the larger deck, but I still have to test it myself, so that it is fun in the end.

There's no unique summons from the class I am aware of but with every class comes a race. Lycanthropes and Vampires for example have unique summons. I personally like to keep the deck as small as possible so I filled mine with whatever draw I could find and the rest were powerful single-include cards. It made Demigod relatively consistent.

thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately I was semi-afk lately and didn't answer sooner.

The deck itself contains no unique summons, so I hadn't considered this circumstance. Currently I am also not aware with which card you can get a unidque summon from my class. Do you have any further information? Which card did this give you? Actually it can only invoke from "Chaotic Forge" or "Priest of Forgotten Gods", but these cards should only generate cards from the same class mod... Would you be thankful for a feedback :-) In addition, I'm waiting eagerly for the option to be able to define the minimum number of deck sizes for the class mod. Personally I would consider 25 cards useful for my class, because otherwise you can also create a strong defense deck through the high card flow, if you keep your deck small... Hope Raven gives the modder a possibility to define the minimum number himself ;-)

Zero to Hero needs some kind of change, it doesn't consider unique summons, which a good few races have. Most if not all of the vanilla cards that buff the attack of summon come at the cost of their health for that reason. Unless you just decide not to use it on a unique summon you have something with max power after a few uses. I had to avoid it in my runs with unique summons to keep it interesting.

Had a little time to play it and it was a lot of fun! You've done a really good job with the elements and making the builds for each of them coherent.
