描述

NOTICE: As of RimWorld 1.1.2610, this has been fixed in the base game, thus the mod is no longer necessary. It's safe to uninstall it in the middle of a playthrough.

Fixes surgery failures sometimes not applying damage due to apparel.

Description

RW 1.0 made it so injuries sustained during surgery don't bypass armor, leading to strange situations where patients can escape even disastrously-botched surgeries unscathed, as long as they're wearing high-quality armor. This mod fixes that, by setting these injuries to Surgical Cut, a damage type that was used in earlier versions to avoid this exact problem.

Can be added or removed to existing saves. Place anywhere in your load order.

This is apparently now fixed on unstable version 1.1.2600:

Fix: Armor prevents damage from surgery failures. Surgery damage now ignores armor.

I ran into this bug today, so this mod is appreciated. I was hoping to find a mod that would remove clothing when pawns are treated/in a medical bed. But This will do.
