Mosh and Thrasher debuted in the WWF in 1995 as The Spiders, and also portrayed Flying Nuns, before establishing themselves as The Headbangers in 1996.

The Headbangers captured the WWF World Tag Team Championship in 1997, but only held the titles for a month before dropping them to the Godwinns.

Mosh went solo in 1999 after Thrasher was injured. He wrestled first as Beaver Cleavage, but after a worked shoot promo in which he trashed the gimmick, Beaver became Chaz.

The Headbangers reformed after Thrasher returned from his injury, but the team never again reached their former popularity.
