FOR AUTHORIZED NKVD PERSONNEL ONLY

To: Lieutenant Danilov, Leonid Vladimirovich, NKVD / Leningrad
Date: November 14th, 1945

MISSION ORDERS:

1. A transport has been prepared for you via sea from Leningrad to Suursaari island. You are to take it as soon as possible.

2. Your mission is to investigate the death of one of the soldiers stationed on the island. Contact local Red Army commander Captain Bulgakov, who will further inform you of your mission details.

3. Time is of essence, so complete the mission as soon as possible.

4. When the situation in Suursaari has been resolved, you are to report directly to Moscow.

DESIGNER NOTES

- A SINGLE PLAYER scenario

- Proper STORY, ENDING, and some MAYHEM somewhere between...

- ZOMBIE - like monsters... at some point

- 20+ CUSTOM LOCATIONS around Suursaari, including underground bunkers

- The story told through INTEL (brown booklets found in different places...) and BRIEFING FILES (depicting "conversations" between player and AI characters). READ THEM CAREFULLY, or you will not make progress...

- LIMITED WEAPONS POOL! While this scenario utilizes many mods, only bits and pieces of each are used

- Although built around Ravage mod, this is NOT A SURVIVAL SCENARIO, and many of the Ravage features are turned off

- Night mission, but with a special "ADJUST EYES TO DARKNESS"-feature (used through Radio Codes 0-0-1 and 0-0-2)

- Some MUSIC (please set your in-game ”music” and ”effects” settings at the same level)

- A Sh*tload of effort has been made to keep this scenario AS LIGHT AS POSSIBLE!


MODS

You will need ALL the mods listed on right, but can ALSO use:

- ENHANCED MOVEMENT (lets you climb on some roofs and over walls and such)

- ENHANCED ARMA 3 INVENTORY (mainly because this gives you a working magazine re-pack feature)

- BLOODLUST (adds some blood and such...)

- AI ACCURACY FIX (makes the infamous ArmA AI a bit less accurate shooter)

All these mods can be found in Workshop!

I really tried to make this scenario fail-proof... but there is so much script and such that some things might still be/get broken...

One of the best Ravage scenarios I played, could be THE best if not for the last part. I liked it being a thriller rather than a horror, really enjoyed the concept of clues and bunkers were great. I guess it could benefit more if looking for clues required checking multiple spots within a location rather than picking up a note, but on the other hand it helps with the lack of voices. What I didn't like is that typical Ravage "walk from one map end to the other with no storytelling other than zombies and random enemies" thing that I despise and the car is taken away abruptly and without warning, I had a lot of cool guns there and I ended up with a bad one looted from one of the Jerries. Enemy AI always headshots you with G43 but I guess it's an ifa3 bug.

this is the only working mission now, and for those who can't get in the driver seat, jump in the boat and walk to the ramp, and you should see the option

Scenario still works until you try and get in the rescue boat as driver and cannot. Good mission spoilt by the ending.

I get to the very end and I get in the boat, but I can't get in the driver's seat.

Also - The IFA3_AIO_LITE mod listed here is gone, but it works if you get the one called 'IFA3 AIO'

Hey Mauseri, I'm checking out all your missions again to see if they still work and I discovered I never actually played this one, though I thought I had. I can report it still works perfectly, as far as I can tell. It's certainly a well made mission. I normally hate playing missions in the dark but this one was worth it. I also played Only the Strong again and that is working fine. The Sheriff is not working. I'll go and see what else is left to try. There are no good Ravage missions coming out and so it's all old ones for me. Thanks for this one!

I just checked out my statistics for this scenario... after a loooooooong time, and I realized there has been over a thousand (1487, as I'm writing this June 20th 2021) downloads.

I do realize that it is not all that much in comparison to some other popular scenario editors, but to me, this is kind of a big deal, and it is WAY more than I ever expected. I still remember the joy I felt when my first upload went over a 100 downloads 8)

So I just... well... wanted to thank you all. And I really do mean it... Thank you all.

I kinda quit the whole arma scene a while back, but maybe, just maybe I'll do another scenario... I kinda have this thing on my mind I maybe might want to try, and as I have a lot of time in my hands right now I just might give it a shot...

Well, anyway, a really big Thank You to all you people downloading this!!!! Really means a lot to me!!!
