When I install the map on my server I get this error, and the map fails to appear in my server map menu.

It shouldn't require anything. It's a HL2 map with all the content packed in. You might have some kind of crappy add-on or another map that packs the same art assets into it, which leads to an error when loading it. Hard to say without looking at what you've got installed.
