Hiigaran Gun Platform

Introduction:

Mobile weapons emplacement designed for area-denial or as relatively cheap reinforcements
when defending an area or object, instead of deploying a more costly ship or station.

This Space Engineers recreation is built from small-grid blocks yet is still a reasonably large vessel,
comparable to a corvette in HomeWorld terms, and is well armed to deter hostile forces.

Features:

Access hatch made from pistons for pilot entry
Remote control block for alternative piloting control
4 Gatling turrets for 360 degree coverage
8 Rocket Launchers
Ore detector- locate and defend valuable resources
Decoy blocks- draws fire away from more important parts of the ship
Survival kit for Healing and Respawning etc.
Fully Survival ready with o2, cargo, reactors, batteries and cockpit etc.



Summary:

In HomeWorld this 'ship' is intended as a cheap and effective way of scaring away hostiles from an area due to its decent firepower and armour and relatively low cost. In Space Engineers this is a rather expensive way of protecting an area- in reality you just need a turret, reactor and a landing gear pretty much. Still, if you like your Role-Play and/or replicas, this is ideal if you're into the HomeWorld series.
