IMPORTANT: Until I can get around to updating the mod, the key door before Maelstrom needs an extra key. If you don't have a key, the only way to get into Maelstrom is to:
Open settings.txt in the TEiN directory and enable "enable_debugconsole" to "true". Ingame, type "load 1-keys", which has a bunch of keys in it. collect one and jump off the edge. If you don't want to play through Blight, type "load 3d-24" (level with the gate) or "load gtc-1" (first screen of Maelstrom). I plan to remove this as soon as I can. Sorry for the inconvenience.



A newer TEiN mod, reworked and rebalanced for the release of the workshop!

-One new world, Maelstrom, accessed from above Blight 21
-13 difficult screens!
-Heavily based on interesting aesthetic, most screens have very unique decoration.
-Custom tileset, background, and overlays (made by Jrob774)
-Custom area label and functional map icon (made by ZotonKew/mb_yew)
-Custom particles to really capture the chaotic feeling of the world

-One new cartridge, Dead Hell
-10 screens that you'll probably genuinely hate
-Based on being long and tedious, most levels use more then one switch
-Reworked version of "Final Storm" from Anniversary 1; remade some bad levels and made it a more enjoyable experience
-Collected from Maelstrom 14. In the cart menu, go to the bottom and select "Next Page!" to access Dead Hell. :)

Some notes:
-There used to be custom music but I found it wasn't free use, so I am currently using Nevermore's theme. If you have any suggestions for music, please dm me on discord at Goldian#0001 (I don't accept random friend requests, join the TEiN discord and contact me from there). The music should be similar to Nevermore (chaotic, fast, and intimidating). It should also be free use. Electronic would be prefered. Thanks.
-If you don't have a key to access Maelstrom, open on the debug console and type "load gtc-0". This should take you to the first screen of the world, and then you'll be able to access it by the map. Alternatively, type "load 1-keys", and then jump off the edge after taking a key.

Since I finished the mod I decided to update this comment.:

Maelstrom was cool. I would say it was kind of easy compared to the other mods, and I don't mean it in a bad way. I definitely had fun with it.

Dead Hell is a lot harder. It looks intimidating, but I'm really glad I tried it again, it was very fun to play, and not tedious like the description says. In my opinion the screens get better after the first ones. I ended up loving it

Aye, what's the directory path to the settings.txt file? Can't find it anywhere in the TEIN folder, even after extracting resources

then i went to gtc-1
same thing
screen 3d-24 had the colors and music but when i tried to change it ,crash

ok so, umm..
i use the command to load the 0 screen and..
no music
black-white colors
and when i try to change the screen it crashes the game.
help
