The Eagle army loved the Patriot assault rifle. That was a given. There was a problem, though. There was a lack of high caliber kinetic weaponry available for usage, besides the arguably outdated SLAM-R. The SL Defender and M1 Garret were simply not enough for Eagle's dual purpose need of anti-vehicular weaponry, capable of stopping a running engine, plus the need for a weapon with high stopping power and still a relatively low size. Eagle engineers came up with an idea. Utilizing a smokeless powder form of an old, single-shot rifle, a prototypical Patriot variant was made. It had lower capacity, and was extremely difficult to control under automatic fire. With revision after revision, a final variant was made. It replaced the fragile holo sight with a carry handle-iron sight combination, was set to only semi-automatic, and used a proprietary 12.7mm cartridge. It was adopted under the name: Loyalist 12.7mm.

Capacity - 10 rounds, 70 reserve

Rate of Fire - 5 rps max


So, it's a vanilla-styled marksman weapon based on the .50 Beowulf ARs, with high stopping power and high recoil. Lower effective fire rate than the Garret, higher than the SL, higher capacity than the Garret and SL, and same damage as both. Basically it's an infantry marksman rifle. A poor description, but that's what it is.
