HISTORY

With the commencement of the Argonaut Program in 2035, The United Earth Colonies, (UEC) revisited successful variants of transportation equipment used during previous space exploration programs.

The Lunar Rover Mark 4 was a revamped version of the original Apollo Lunar Rover .

The Mark 4 began trials in 2038 and successfully carried out field operations as part of Argonaut 7 in 2039. It's cheap production cost, wide wheel base and low center of gravity made it a reliable vehicle, though its top speed and lack of independent recharging capability were some of its key limitations.

Still, the Lunar Rover Mk 4 was a favorite among the first United Earth Colonial explorers and went on to support hundreds of UEC missions.
