I get why this mechanic wasn't implemented in the official Portal 2 from Tag: The Power of Paint because playtesters were feeling motion sickness but why didn't Valve expand the idea with portals in a separate game and have a full disclosure about the potential barriers to play that game, like VR. Of course the game would be niche compared to Portal 2, but hey, it just make me wonder what kind of maps Valve had cooking with this mechanic. It's now up to the fans to reconstruct how the mechanic would work in Source engine and create puzzles with adhesion gel.
