Hello, fellow dragonborn!

So I was rummaging around Steam and Nexus the other day and discovered to my horror that there was no decent death hound follower mod.... Like, anywhere. There were a few but bugs and that kind of thing inhibited them greatly.

Naturally.... I decided to fix that.

Meet Fang! Your fathful undead doggy companion. Not a vampire? NOT A PROBLEM! He loves you regardless of your life choices. Feeling like the usual shaggy dogs just aren't cutting it? Fang is the solution to all your needs. His hobbies include glaring at things with glowing red eyes, chasing squirrels, mauling the beejeezus out of anything that gets in his or your way, and recieving backscratches and bellyrubs.

He will follow you automatically when you meet him in Bleakfalls Tower, just approach him (watch out for the bodies) and press E to say hi. After that, he can wait, be dismissed, and carry your junk. Fang is unique and essential. This is a relatively simple mod, and my first, so I appreciate any feedback offered with constructive critiscism in mind.

Fang currently works with the multifollower mod I have, Multifollower Lite, and is listed after in the load order. I assume this means that he will play nice with others as well, though I have not tested this. Again, feedback appreciated!!

FAQ:

-There is a bug with the follower dialogue!

+Nope! There isn't; just approach him, press E, and you will see a notice that says 'Fang is following you faithfully'. Gratz, he's yours! You will see an example of this in the screenshots!

-Fang wont follow me D:

+There is some sort of odd thing I can't replicate. Try uninstaling and reinstalling with a clean save adjusting the load order, or using console command 'set playeranimalcount to 0' without the quotation marks. This has fixed people's problems.

10/6/2014: So I got a new computer but LOST all my files. Updates to this have to be started over, and may take some time, but I will try to fix the small issues that people are having.

10/5/2013: Added level with player ability.

Would you ever consider porting this to SSE and uploading it to somewhere like NexusMod or something? I've been trying to find a good Death Hound follower mod for forever, but I can only find Oldrim ones. I like the name on this one too, it makes me think of Hagrid's dog from Harry Potter!

for people who cant find him in bleakfalls tower make sure you tick the box to activate this mod its in data files when skyrim first pops up on your screen. Bleak falls tower is the tower you pass on the way to bleak falls barrow it has maybe 3 bandits in it with one outside the tower resting on a tree <-- this is where you get the dragon stone from.

My problem with this mod is when I click e or my activate button on control he doesnt respond to it :/

fang suddenly stopped to attack people, he would ran over to them but just stares at them but does not attack anymore. (sry for bad english)

I cant find fang. Ive looked at bleakfalls tower. But all I found were bandits

Okay, nevermind, found him :D Started to hear his breathing sounds.. so i followed them.. he was super sneakily hidden behind some stairs! I LOVE HIM *.* Thank you for the mod <3
