I have spent MANY, MANY days and hours making a huge mod for another game...
and I cannot IMAGINE complaining if someone uploaded it somewhere else, or edited it, lmao.
Why would it be a problem lol?

Actually there is nothing the proper mod authors can do. So long as a mod being uploaded doesn't break TOS and is clean (No malware) they don't care. I know this because I've spoke to many of the actual mod authors personally on Nexus and they repeat the same general story of hopelessness and annoyance. That, and some of the actual mod authors have appeared on the reuplods comments outright begging him to remove them because he never asked for their permission to upload them.

Most of 2-CRI's reuploads either don't work or don't work properly because they are usually heavily outdated and were initially designed with either a Retail copy or a mod manager in mind. The file structure between a steam copy of a game and a retail copy of a game aren't the same.

The conflict between Nexusmods and the workshop is getting so bad that I CAN SEE IT. I posted the comment below to try and help quell things before they get out of hand and potentially HARM the games we love in some way. (IE Nexus killing motivation to use workshop or vice versa which would limit potential new players)

Just going to say it like this plain and simple. Uploading without permission is a shit move, however if the mod author owns the copyright to the mod (as in on Nexus) then they can easily have steam remove it by lodging a copyright complaint. HOWEVER the fact that credit IS IN FACT being given and a link to the nexusmods page means this was not done out of a pure malicious intent. 2CRI needs to ask permission before reuploading but at the same time the argument that people without nexus are losing out because they don't use it and the workshop is right here ready to go means these mod authors could very easily themselves be uploading their mods onto the workshop themselves! If you rely on donations for your content then here is a 2 step process that can help you get a foothold as a mod author on the steam workshop.

I AM NOT DEFENDING 2CRI JUST STATING FACTS

The mod isnt even that much of a deal, stop acting like someone stole the restored content pack from you and uploaded here.

Lol I would love to see these mod authors try to win a lawsuit over a mod. 99% of them don't have any way to prove legal ownership of the product, and even the ones who do probably wouldn't win anyway because there are loopholes in copyright that allow people to do these things.

The problem behind 2CRI stealing mods like this is they often don't work.
There are extra steps a mod author has to take to get their mods to work with the workshop, 2CRI literally doesn't take any of those steps.

It takes you all of three seconds to go to the actual site for the real mod and if you have any questions post them on DeadlyStream or here.
