That's the overheat feature. It works in Legacy Edition and uses a simple speed sensor.

Could you maybe bring out a version without the engine rotation feature? It's nice historically but it makes it virtually impossible to actually use in a dogfight, especially with the Fokker Dr.1 as it's counterpart.

It is a feature!
The real Sopwith Camel was very slow turning left because of the engine rotation.
It was very fast when turning right.
