Map Description

This canonically takes place before my map jungle compound. Intruders are assigned to infiltrate an ocean platform research and technology development facility near an island. The objective is to either destroy the platform or secure the intelligence. The guards are ill-prepared as their weapons and security supplies are scattered throughout the weapons platform. One briefcase has already been secured in the intelligence vault, however, the other briefcase has yet to be stored. It is up to the intruders to decide which briefcase is easier to secure, or whether destroying the intelligence altogether is better. The security room allows for lots of visibility for patrol routes, but the intruders might easily destroy the surveillance cameras. Two codes are necessary to engage the platform's self-destruct sequence, and luckily for the intruders the input code is also in the intelligence vault.

Gameplay

This map is more complex and aimed towards more experienced players. On this map, there are many cooperative strategies involving the bloon gadget. The map has two briefcases and two capture points. both teams are not fully equipped with utility, instead, weapons, ammunition, and grenades must be scavenged throughout the various rooms. The briefcase room is in a cubicle hallway up against the wall in guard spawn. The security room allows for lots of intel gathering, specifically, information about the surrounding map ledges and halls. There are numerous halls and doorways that make the cam-stick gadget vital for intruding and guarding.




Map details

This map was my third. It took me many weeks. It was illuminated and lit by myself. This map has a nighttime variant that is extremely dark and not well lit. This map has always been very optimized and easy to run with or without post effects, this map is bright and dark in areas that I've specifically designated, and now hopefully I have given it the attention it deserves. Thank you all for playing and enjoying this map. This map was heavily inspired by Cliffside. I envisioned a larger cliffside and decided to make something like it, but larger. This map was originally going to be called Rush, but I figured it would be a strange name, and I didn't have a clear idea for a setting, so it became ocean facility.

Searching for the code for Intel room and the Alpha code is a neat mechanic but the silent pistol having a .75 sec lag after clicking completely ruins the map.

The textures do not load correctly, and the adjustments to all the weapons is awkward
