I was comparing khilmarr's ISD "How I play it" as the reference point since you conveniently placed a comparison picture(thanks haha).
I got it up to scale with the picture and damn you're right. it's so huge
As for as "proper scale", in this game its a bit of a moot point. What are you comparing it too. If you go by actual lengths (i.e. "1 avorion unit is about 10 meters") then everything else goes way out of whack.
When I start a build like this, I use 2x2 framework blocks to build up the interior and get a starting shape. Then start skinning it and adding in fine detail work. I do this not for scale, but to help everything line up without having any gaps or overlaps in blocks. Later, one can go back and convert the 2x2 framework blocks to tweek gen rates, shields, ect.
I noticed this isn't to scale with the ISD, I think.(Either that or the ISD I have isn't to scale either. Though I'm pretty sure it is)
Very hard to upscale with this many blocks. Hahaha
Have any tips and such? Like how to scale properly? Big thanks!
