[WOTC] MOCX Mec Visual Replacement

MOCX is a great mod that adds a whole lot of interesting enemy units, one of these are the MOCX Mec, an interesting unit in the game play being a buffed up Advent Mec that MOCX can create via research.

One thing I didn't personally care for was the unit just reusing the base game Heavy Mec appearance

This mod changes that by giving the unit it's own custom skin, the skin comes from the game files specifically some Dev testing ones, the skin seems to have been used to test metallicness I think, I thought it was an interesting enough skin visually so I've used it here.

My idea is that the MOCX Mec are prototypes thus their look reflects that now.

No changes to the unit's stats in anyway, this is a visual change only, the shoulder luancher is the same red because the MOCX Mec uses the same loadout as a base game mec so if I changed the skin for the launcher I would also be doing that to the Heavy Mec as well.


Not compatible with any mods that would also try to overwrite the the MOCX Mec's model.

Which as far as I know no other mod does right now besides this one.
