Captains For All Units (單位附帶百夫長)

描述
Purpose
This mod aims to add captains to every single unit in the game.

Reason
I made this mod to represent lower level leadership within each unit, and to give each unit a bit more life. Currently all units including the yellow turbans have captains.

Gameplay Changes
  • Captains in each unit have the same health as 4x one standard model, this will allow them to survive some engagements to the end.
  • With my implementation you will see a minor increase of health in all units across the board.
  • All captains will have a jian, and if they are in a ranged unit a bow.
  • It is functional in both custom battle and campaign however you will probably have to start a new campaign in order for the captains to appear!

What I'm Currently Working On
  • Waiting for new dlc and patch to be dropped. 23/12/2019
  • Adding captains to all new MOH units. To be started soon
  • Adding more unique variation to captain models at my discretion. To be started soon
  • Debating if I should give captains more than Jians. To be started soon

Ready For Next Update
  • Rebalanced health of all captains. They should die more easily but shouldn't get deleted instantly. 23/12/2019

Completed Tasks
  • Removed shields from metal captains 19/07/2019
  • Creating new tiered captains for wood/metal units 19/07/2019
  • All captains are now scaled up to 1.05 which is equivalent to a commander class hero in scale. 19/07/2019

  • Fixed incorrect unit count for Pearl Dragons 21/07/2019

  • Captains will act more like dismounted 1h heroes, they will use the unique animations, executions, and aoe melee strikes. If they get close enough duel animations will play, however I do not think I will be able to make them seek each other out. 25/07/2019
  • Ensure that each melee strike by a captain is heard as a distinct strike like full heroes. 25/07/2019
  • Add unique captains to the yellow turban roster 25/07/2019
  • Fixed unit audio not actually playing but as a consequence I had to remove unique captain sounds for the time being. 27/07/2019
  • Added captains to the new eight princes dlc units. 08/08/2019
  • Adjusted captain health so they can survive a few more engagements 15/08/2019
  • Added new helmets to captains ensuring that most have either a tassel or feather 15/08/2019
  • Added unique bandit/mercenary captains 15/08/2019
  • Fixed positioning of some yellow turban captains 15/08/2019

Future Plans
  • Ensuring that captains look consistent across the board while also improving where there are issues
  • Creating unique captains for unique/dragon units
  • Adding "elite bodyguards" to record's mode generals (Having some issues with units leaving formation on hold for now)
  • Attempt to get captains to duel like generals in records (50/50 that it's possible)
  • Support for larger mods that add new units (lowest priority)
  • Taking suggestions

Issues
  • Currently enemy captains (the actual units called captain) in garrisons (can't confirm anything else) don't use the proper officer files in the game and thus don't actually use the proper skins. This can be seen with any other cosmetic mod that changes officer skins in the game. I have already submitted a bug report about this.
  • I can't update my mod without deleting my description and title, therefore If they ever disappear down the road it is for this reason

If there are any issues with the game crashing, units not playing the right animations, captains not showing up, or just incompatibilities I would like to know in the comments as soon as possible.

Compatibility
  • Any mod that affects unit size will not be compatible.
  • It will not add captains to any new unit additions from other mods.
    It should be compatible with any cosmetic overhaul mods to any units, however the captains will cosmetically stay the way I made them. Stat changes apart from unit health should also be fine however if there are any issues please tell me.

Previous Versions
Sometimes depending on the update your current campaign may no longer function.
If your current campaign crashes at end turn for any reason and it is due to an update with my mod use one of the previous versions below if you wish to keep playing that campaign!

Side Notes
If you have any sources for historical officer equipment I would love to use it as a reference when creating new skins for captains.

From now on I'll try to keep new updates large and substantial so you guys have time to finish your campaigns without needing to come here and download an older version. 22/07/2019

这个MOD的目的是在游戏中为每个单位增加一个百夫长。

制作原因:
我做这个MOD是让每个单位拥有一个下层指挥官(校尉/百夫长),并给每个单位增加少量的生命值。目前除黄巾军外,所有单位都有校尉。

游戏中的更改:
每个百夫长拥有3倍于标准士兵的生命值,这将使他们能够在一些战斗中幸存到最后。
在我的MOD中,你会看到所有单位的生命值都有少量的增长。
所有百夫长都装备一把剑,如果他们是一个远程单位就会装备弓。
它在自定战都和战役中都会生效,但是你可能需要新开一个存档,以便百夫长出现!

hi. i would like to note that the iron warriors and bana chosen don't have captains. atleast in my game. please advice. also thank you for the work! bless.

Can you make a mod where a general can recruit 8 units instead of 6 like now? that would be a great mod and many people are looking forward to it ! :steamthumbsup:

Took a look around, looks like its just a fundamental problem with the game code. Garrison captains just decide they want to look however they want lol. Recruitable captains are fine but this means that nanman garrisons being floating heads and han captains looking boring cant be changed.

No big deal if you choose not to, but could you update this mod? It still works, but it's the only mod I have labeled as out of date. Again, no big deal, but figured I'd ask.
