thank you. i got her to show up and if need be thanks to your tips i was able to make her appear. there was no factiontraits file so i copied one of the XML files and then took that copy and made that the faction traits with the info you gave me. at least now if need be i can change her to the faction i am going to play for a custom game and she will show up. =) *bows* i bow before your wisdom lol.

Thanks, but I hardly call myself a veteran, more a tinker, thats mainly why I made the program shown in the guide, to make creating heros accessible to as many people as possible with little to no programming experience.

I will take a look at the hero you mentioned, but as to making my own? i gave up trying to do modding and have not made a mod for a game since elder scrolls 3 when they came out with the Construction Kit lol. that was the last time i had a hand in modding, and i am just getting old anyways so i prefer to leave it to the younger generation who can have the patience and time to make mods while i can enjoy them and if need be test them out. Cause i will say this, and its a compliment, in comparison between us, your the Veteran here and i am just a noob at modding this game lol, so i will leave it to the pros on making mods. lol *salute*

as she has a bunch of resource multipliers that can be a help if you start with her early game

however, I'd be careful with custom skill trees as they can be buggy, and I haven't had time to fix it

ok i got her in my game, she was missing the "factiontraits.xml" file so i just copied one of the other files and then renames it to that and then cleared all of the changed all of the text over and then she showed up. thank you for making a kicking hero cause i like to play the game on the hardest setting and i was getting my butt kicked by the pirates and the vodyani kept trying to ask for all my money as well lol.

It has been a while since I have played the game, and it seems very unlikely that any changes to how custom heros work would be made.

There will be a chance of her turning up in the market place, it is not guarenteed, this is the same will all custom heros, it doesnt matter what faction you play or what route you take.

I am sorry to say i have tried everything to get this hero and she does not come up anywhere playing vaulters. I tried the standard version of vaulters, taking both paths of military and science and a mix, even as the Custom vaulters she doesn't show in game at all. even disabled all mods i was using and only had her and still she didn't show. I am using the 1.5.11 S5 gold-public version. I have all the DLC (4 majors) and the updates for the game (all 10 add-ons from content management of the developers) and she will still not show up. i dont know what version of game your using though or what mods you have for heroes to show but please please help!!! i have no clue what to do now. I love the anime and would like VERY much to have this hero in my game for custom factions and such.

Actually, I think that she is just available in the marketplace, she doesnt start with anyone, sorry I have a bunch of hero mods, so was a bit confused.
