Sorry. I try not to assume gender, but, sociital conditioning causes me to start sayin "he" and so on. Maybe that needs some research? Do males versus femalses have diferent predispositions twords assuming different genders, is it the same...
hm
Well, it was just supposed to be a joke, not necessarily accurate to the way the virus works. But I see your point.
so. nothing will change untill he dies! And, if he doesn't, he will still be lonley... ):
Good for you. I guess that means your immune.
i enjoy the fear of my prey

Yes, it is complicated.
and, technicly this only destroys 50% of empathy. One type allows detection of emotion, the other allows feelling sympathy, a caring about others. Phycopaths can detect emotion, but don't care about how the other feels, allowing sociopathic behavier. Autistic people don't have the first one, so they care about others, but can't figure out their emotions instinctivly. But, that's just a generalization. Some phsycopaths might have a small amount of empathy, most autistic people can barley detect emotion...
Cats do have a lot of both, they just first priotize:
Themselves
Their Pride (Which, if they trust you enough, includes you (Noticible by them grooming you)
Themselves
Allys/ pride (Noticible by them claiming you (Rubbing against you (saying "Your mine"), showing you their, er, backside)
Aqautences
it's complected
and, sorroy Cat! (I have one, but, well, he think's he's a dog. I have 2 dogs, one of them thinks she's half dog half cat...)
