So, I am very sure that tapping jump and "simply letting go of the cube" is not a cube toss. This is a 5 portal map. 3 orange and 2 blue.

No, this is not the right solution, throwing the cube is a flaw. To be honest, I've been making this map for so long that I don't remember the solution. Try to complete the original puzzle, there is no such flaw.

Do you mean a Cube Throw and walk into the head of funnel as part of solution? It would be quite easy with those in the solution.
