Encounter Mercenary Wreckage

I found a naturally generating example of this Random Encounter in a Creative game and have been trying to commandeer and refit it. It's been slow going. Far as I can tell, a repaired variant of this ship can't be encountered in regular play. Based on BlitzStream's comment, I'm not even sure if the designers even intended for the ship to have actually been functional at some point.

I tried to rebuild this ship with all the debris found around and in it. But somehow feel disappointed at the end as there is 2 debris that is not fit to be merged/re-attached to the ship. One of the debris is on the picture, it got 2 incomplete batteries in it. And the other one is 2 incomplete white "Light Armor Block". Defective puzzle.

dcjacobs. Thats exactly what i did after the handrill (elite grade) failed to free the ship. Brought in the big boy and voile after a few seconds, the ship was free. I have repaired it, and now im "rebuild/refit it, replace moduls, add some, take out some low tech modules, add more thruster, more gyro, more armor. (Plus spent a ton of time on the paint.) Now right now im refittin the hydro engine room, gettin rid of those low eff modules and probably will fit in some reactor, plus armor, plus what i can add. While im doin this i had found some modules i didnt expected, fixed a few air leak, and trying to figure out what to do with the large container, where to add the connector. Its just way too exposed.

If you use a drill ship and right click all roid matter in close proximity to clear the rock from block 'volumes', it can be made a ship.

can you convert thsi ship to make it fly?

Delete the bodies in the save file.

@dcjacobs , try to grind down the block that they are in contact with

My question, is how to get rid of the bodies?

Just found this today, anyone know the completed ship?
