Random Blood Arena is a random map script inspired by CBA scenario maps. I’ve tried to make it look and feel sort of like a CBA map. Of course there are no automatic unit spawns, and you do have to manage your economy.

Details:
-Each player starts on a 14x14 square island with 25 berry bushes, 25 trees, 16 gold mines, 9 stone mines, a fixed amount of sheep and deer, 8 villagers, a scout, a town center, a castle, towers, houses, 2 relics, 1 monk, 1 monastery, a barracks, blacksmith, market, university, siege workshop and archery range, and walls on the icy connection to the center land. (yes, it’s incredibly crowded)
-You do not start with: lumber camp and mill (because there is no way to ensure they land next to their respective resources), stable (to avoid disadvantaging the Mayans and Aztecs with a useless building), dock (see next point), an army
-There are no beaches, so you cannot build a dock!
-Each player is connected to the starting area by an icy path, which also runs through the center land and connects to other icy paths (Ice is there to prevent you from walling off too much).
-The center land contains additional food, wood, gold and stone – and controlling these may be crucial to winning the game.
-There is a monument in the center of the map – it will change ownership depending on who sees it, but it will not trigger a wonder victory.
-Around the monument are additional relics and some powerful wolves.

To play, choose the following when setting up a match:

Map style: custom
Location: ZN@RBA_v0.5

Recommended settings:
game types - DM, Koth, Regicide or RM
map size - scales quite well, but don't be unreasonable (ex. use at least "Large" for 8 players or at least "small" for 4 players)
Resources - standard or high or deathmatch

The AI may not do too well on this map, and may occasionally be trapped in it's own base by it's own building.




This map is by no means perfect, and if there is interest I can develop it further.

I’m going to have to take a break from random map scripting due to new developments in personal life, but once I get back to it, I have some awesome ideas for making a Hunger Games RMS.

Hmm, ja das könnte ich auch machen. Warscheinlich würde ich dann den Rand mit Bäumen füllen.

Hallo Zetnus, ich würde es gut finden, wenn man auf diesen CBA- ähnlichen Zufallskarten auch ganz normal starten könnte nur mit einem Dorfzentrum und drei Dorfbewohnern, und wenn es dann ähnlich wie bei deinen 'Water Wars'-Karten mehr Bäume gäbe.
