Solvalou (XEVIOUS)

Xevious is a 1983 vertically-scrolling shooter arcade game developed and published by Namco. It was licensed to Atari, Inc. for release in North America. The player controls a starship known as the "Solvalou", in its efforts to combat the Xevious forces.

Solvalou's official size data is 9.81m(length) 3.52m(height) 5.73m(width). But it's cockpit must be too small for a Besiege pilot.

This starship is a omnipotent aircraft.(adaptable to normal flight, VTOL, stabilizing floating, and 0G) But also quite hard to control, many buttons. You have to take time to get used to.

1. Taking off:
press "P" to use VTOL, let it floats, use "RTYFGH" to adjust attitude.
hold right ctrl - rise
>press "O" to switch to stabilizing floating mode.
>or press "up" / "0" to switch to normal flight.

2. Stabilizing floating mode:
In this mode it will be very stable. Press "O" again to turn off this mode.
hold "[" "]" to adjust it's buoyancy. You can aslo use "RTYFGH" to adjust attitude.

3. Normal flight:
Same as a plane. When it's speed gets over 300KMH, please press "P" to turn off VTOL.
use "RTYFGH" to fly.
hold "left" "right" / "-" "+" to adjust engine power.
hold "U" "J" to use air brake, this can also control speed and make it more stable.
>USE your air brake to slow down the aircraft(hold J), minimize engine power(hold left), and press "P" to switch to VTOL, then you can press "O". OR it'll break.

4. Landing:
MUST switch to stabilizing floating mode.
adjust it's buoyancy, slowly land your aircraft. When it touches the ground, press "P" at once.

5. Weapon system:
hold num0 - Xio burster beam
hold numdel - Xio scatter
numenter - release Xio Knights(must press at first)
num1/num2 - rotate Xio Knights
num3 - guns
num6 - solvalou bomb
If Xio Knights are rotating, you should slow them down, when they are just on the sides, press numenter to catch them. Stabilizing floating mode recommended.

6: 0G:
Don't use VTOL.
