A ski tank.

With the Enforcer, Nanite Systems broke into ground vehicle manufacturing as well. While intended as mobile fire support for infantry, it was designed to be employed under the Yggdrasil Command System en masse as a shock unit to disrupt enemy defences.

It was one of several vehicles at the time that took advantage of new 'glider' technology, which promised lower maintenance and higher speed. In practice, these advantages weren't enough to overcome a total lack of off-road performance and poorer handling, and many an image circulated of skimmers getting stuck in mud and crashed into buildings.


Built for the ski tank contest. Which it won.

You may notice that the turret housing is ripped from the Arbitrator.

It's better than the old Aventail in everything except armour (this isn't a ballast tank), skid size (bigger is better), and sheer firepower (recoilless steam cannons are quite something).

I wanted a chaingun for crowd control (since the Arbitrator already has a 20x cannon), but the contest scores on cannon stability and an 8x cannon is plenty stable.
So I thought - why not both? :^)
