Features

- Improved textures of raindrops from inside cabin (windshield & windows) higher resolution and better defined textures
- Increased the amount of raindrops on the windshield and windows

- Dynamic sounds of rain. Effects, attenuations and transitions according to the intensity of the rain
- High quality thunder sounds. Around 20 various sounds, including delay between 1 and 5 seconds, simulating IRL.

Note: The amount of raindrops on the windows will vary depending on the intensity and direction of the rain (controlled by the game or by a Weather mod)

- Compatible with all trucks, all DLC's and Mods Maps (ProMods...)

- Tested with Default Weather (SCS)

Note: You should know that Autumn Seasons By Grimes disables thunders. The lack of these aspects is not from 'Realistic Rain' mod.

Requeriments

- Must have high priority in Mod Manager. Realistic Rain ABOVE/ON TOP of Weathers/Graphics, Maps and Sound mods.
- Recommended: Disable the rain sensor, It does not work correctly with this mod, due to the increased number of drops.
- Currently, this mod only works with DirectX 11

Questions

- Can this mod be used together with 'Cold Rain'? Nope, both mods are similar and modify the same parts of the game, only the one with higher priority will work, so use only one!
- What differences does this mod have with respect to Cold Rain? Both are very similar, the only difference is the textures of the raindrops that you can see on the glass (windshield, windows etc... ) and slightly changes the behavior of raindrops on the glass. 'Realistic Rain' has some more "standard" raindrops, while Cold Rain tries to appear colder and icy raindrops, choose the one you like the most, the rest of the things are similar.

Problems and solutions

The mod appears as updated to the latest version but I am not receiving the download:
- You can force the download by doing 'Unsub + Sub' again, you will receive the download immediately.

I don't hear rain sounds from this mod:
- 1. Make sure you have this Mod with the highest possible priority within the mod manager (above other mods for sounds, graphics, weathers etc...)
- 2. Sometimes there is a problem with the game and FMOD, if you have recently removed or added a Sound Mod from the mod manager, I recommend that you close the game completely and start the game again . This will clear the memory/cache of the game and all sound mods will load correctly, repeat this solution every time you add/remove a sound mod to avoid problems.
