Scaling Dragons with better AI!

Dragons should be mighty fearsome creatures that strike fear into your heart whenever they fly overhead. However, all too often, once you reach a certain level the ordinary dragon becomes an absolute joke. This mod attempts to fix that.





This mod will only affect random dragons that spawn. it does not affect named dragons.

Dragons will be much less inclined to break off an engagement with you to go fight giants. They should never engage animals unless the animals engage them first. No more chasing down a dragon because it decided mudcrabs were a bigger threat! However, they will still attack bandits, gaurds etc like normal.

Dragons will now scale with the player. Without this mod a normal vanilla dragon was level 10, I have made them scale at a rate of .8. So now if you are level 25 they will be level 20, about the same difficulty as a normal blood dragon.

Name - Default Level - scaling factor
Dragon - 10 - .8
Blood Dragon - 20 - .85
Frost Dragon - 30 - .9
Elder Dragon - 40 - .95
Ancient Dragon - 50 - 1.0

Although the dragons scale, they do not start scaling until they hit their minimum level! For example if you are level 25 and a frost dragon attacks, it will be the game default of level 30, dragons will NOT scale down below their default levels.

Dragons have been given a small amount of bonus health. I will be adjusting this up or down based off some testing. Please let me know if you have comments or questions!
