Can Klei finally buff this hat?

Welcome
I've always loved this hat, but it feels like something wrong with it. You can't use catcoon's hat as your end game gear (just not optimal). Considering how it's hard (or at least time consuming) to get this hat, I've decided to slightly adjust it. Instead of using fixed values, this mod gives you the ability to change everything for your own needs! Or, if you are not sure, you can just use mine (default) values.

Settings:
Durability of Cat Cap:
64 min/80 min/200 min

Sanity regeneration:
2 per min/3.3 per min/4.4 per min

Catcoon Cap's insulation
60/120/180/240

To-Do list:
  • Add custom bonus for this cap (right now I have no idea what it will be)

its not time consuming to make such hat. just kill a cat and some spiders.

but shaving beefalo is time consuming

can you buf other clothes and stuffs? Its been so long since I could wear this hat its nice again xp

make catcoons drop you something once they see you with this hat equipped once in a day

Make them agro on you instead while you wearing this hat for... obvious reasons.

@flyons_gary Making catcoons followers would be easy, but quite pointless since they don't do anything usefull. And if you like them you may just adopt kitty from the cave.
Do something with hunting sounds more interesting though. Like increased damage to game or increased chances of finding koalefant's tracks?

Could maybe try and mod it to help with hunting tracks? There is a nice mod for tracking koalafants and players. So maybe some kind of combination there would work? Definitely feel like hunting is the best area for something custom with it, besides maybe making Catcoons follow you.
