[Fighter Blueprint] Ikeda Munitions IF-21 'Hemlock' Plasma Fighter

The Ikeda Munitions Corporation made a name for itself with its signature torpedoes and assorted weapons technologies. However, Ikeda's growing reputation has also presented a new series of challenges. With more than a few corporate competitors and governments taking an interest in their operations, Ikeda has moved to keep their R&D as strictly in-house as possible. The company now operates its own fleet with its own shipbuilding division to secure its most important facilities.

The IF-21 'Hemlock' starfighter is one element of that program. Fast and maneuverable, it is the main fighter-class vessel used by the company's fleet and defense installations. The curved side panels seem to be designed to dissipate heat. While the IF-21's forerunner - the IF-1 'Kudzu' - has been sold to the public on occasion, Ikeda has only ever traded a stripped-down version of the 'Hemlock' to its most trusted business partners. The fighter's true specifications - specifically, its armament - remain a trade secret.

The IF-21 'Hemlock' is exactly 200 blocks. The original 'Kudzu' was a concept experiment build that I liked, but wasn't quite what I originally envisioned. I decided to revisit the concept and the 'Hemlock' was the result. I think I did a better job on this one, and it looks a lot more like a plant-machine fusion rather than a plant with machine parts tacked on as an afterthought. The 'Hemlock' is named for a highly poisonous plant.

Screenshots (besides the auto-generated preview image) show fighters at true scale - when you use this blueprint to produce fighters, that's the level of detail you can expect from the final product.

This ship is intended for use as a fighter blueprint, as it lacks the critical ship components necessary for player control.
