You can have a such big maps and buildings ? Really ?

@erik_ironfist you'll want to spam raw materials like crazy - utilize ones that can be exported for some real value, and build up industry gradually. You'll want to depend on cattle + pig + goat ranches for the food. Plantations should be mostly money crops. Once in the cold war, you can spam hydrofarms like crazy - they employ less but also take up much less space. Make sure to get plenty growing corn (you can literally demolish one sugar plantation and build 3 hydrofarms so you still get sugar + 2x corn), then build a substantial amount of factory farms. My only problem with these pop sizes is that it becomes really hard to build enough teamster offices - I've noticed sometimes what appears to be a lack of raw goods / food is really just a lack of teamsters, building more farms/ranches/mines doesn't help, but if I throw down 1-3 teamster offices suddenly everything is supplied.

how do you feed that many people? and how do you make jobs for that many people when the resources (oil, fish, gold, etc.) eventually run out?

I know in Tropico 5 you could just make factories without the input resources and set them to import resources, and that was a source of essentially infinite jobs. Or you could build factories owned by foreign companies. But how do you cure unemployment in Tropic 6 with a population above 1,800?!

You can change the max population in the Gameoptions

How did you overcome the limit of 1800 tropicans?
