Terran (ATF) Vidar M6 (5-Slot) [X3]

The Vidar is the standard M6 corvette of the AGI Task Force. Though a little slow by M6 standards, its excellent shielding and blistering firepower make it more than a match for most ships of its size.

Vidars are most commonly equipped with electro-magnetic plasma cannons (EMPCs), but can carry more powerful (though ammunition-dependant) matter/antimatter launchers (MAMLs). They are also compatible with Terran Poltergeist, Specter, and Wraith missiles.

This build of the ATF Vidar is based on its appearance in X3: Terran Conflict and is a mostly faithful re-creation. The original had most of its weapons fixed forward, hidden behind the red glowing parts of the ship, which wasn't something I could really make happen. I elected instead to give it four new size 1 turrets, in addition to the two size 1.5 turrets that can be found in the original turret locations. It also has a pair of forward torpedo launchers and some internal frameworks for upgrades.

Detailed stats can be found in the screenshots. It's worth noting that maneuverability can be greatly improved by upgrading the entire ship to titanium as soon as possible.

This build was a request from A. Square on the Avorion discord. After the Tyr, I didn't think I'd want to touch an ATF build ever again, but, happily, this one came together pretty smoothly.
