So have you ever used a double or triple unit size mod and wondered why does the Ai go AY MY LINE OF INFANTRY IS BIGGER THAN YOURS. and proceeds to make a line of soldiers so long that the map cant fit all of them. so you have to either make a line just as big or risk getting flanked and that normally takes up all of the deployment zone and at least for me thats annoying.

fear not cause this mod fixes that. it changes the rank depth of all melee units to 12 making the AI actually have maneuverable units that don't take up half the map just to move and force you to respond with a unit that's just as wide so they don't flank you. with this cavalry also has a chance to get behind enemy lines without the units stopping them just cause they have a bigger line that literally stretches from one end of the map to the other.

this is also a unit size mod doubling the size of the units. 320 infantry, 240 cavalry and 240 archer because in order for me to change rank depth in these units i need to also use their tables which most other unit size mods also require so changing rank depths would conflict with other unit size mods. elephants, fleet ships and Artillery have not been changed.

sidenote: Cavalry have been fixed

Because im kinda tired of repeating myself: This mod DOES NOT ADD UNITS TO UNITS AQUIRED FROM OTHER MODS.

changing the ship units disrupted naval battles. each unit now occupies two ships. however, only one ship is functionally used per unit, while the second remains idle and obstructs the movement of nearby ships

to Alan or anyone who think that "the game cant handle anything over 200 to 240 unit size on large battlefields"

you clearly don't have a high end on PC, i can play even Attila tw with 4x unit size no stutter, the reason i believe people need to stop saying "the game cant handle it" IT CAN until you go over 500 man units, your computer is the problem not the game, Rome 2 is well stable by now. its misleading to other people who want increased units and are lead to believe the game will be unstable with 320-480 unit size. now beyond that and above yeah then i agree with you the game couldn't handle it.

@Victory Forever, did you recruit new troops and upgrade some buildings first? was this installed in the middle of the game or with a new game? Give us more info, bro

None of the units are the size that the mod says they should be, mod doesn't seem to work.

The game can not handle anything over 200 to 240 unit size on large battles.. Unit stutter will kick off
