描述
Solo / Play time 15 - 20 min.

Tasks :
- Infiltrate an area, dodging patrols,
- Rush a site, quick skirmish, steal an AH9,
- Use the AH9 to destroy a convoy before it reaches safety.

You're working for a profit-seeking, cost-cuting mercenary company. When buisness 'smart' meets war.

Today the company's bureaucrats tought it would be potentially very profitable to send a single guy to steal an helicopter from an infested enemy isle, and use it to take down an escorted convoy. They figured out it was worth the try - soldiers doesnt cost that much.

Thats my first map on the Arma franchise, mainly made to test the editor & scripting. Not sure about the interest and difficulty, so comments are welcome.

Hm... I spawned without clothes or ammo for my gun, and when I managed to sneak past the guards and get to the chopper it had no ammo. There's a warning about links to missing static objects at the start, perhaps that's related?

Thanks for clearing up, sicne I often use the bigger choppers that are more in your face in Arma 2 or 3 when I casually fly.


Yeah I was doing passes on the truck line instead of trying to hover and take them out with unguided rockets. I am ass with choppers and have no shame admitted it, so missions like this help.

The AA soldiers likely did come out of the truck, because it always happened during attacks. Maybe a survivor got revenge? I will give it another shot in a bit and report if I encounter any odd AA

The AH9 has no flares - it is not specific to this mission. Its a light, sneaky copter, not an all-in-your-face tank-copter like an Apache. Thats why the briefing info suggests you to take down the convoy as fast as possible before they get out & ready - make sure to aim for the trucks first (beside Ifrits are not the target).

A rather safe way to go would be to find a nice spot with the copter, in alignment with the convoy road and far enough, from here carefully shoot rockets one-by-one, arty style.

That being say there shouldnt be any AA soldiers on the map, except the ones in the trucks. If you see AA soldiers arround the map, please report it - they should not be here.

is the chopper suppose to lack flares? AA ends this mission instantly if someone randomly gets a lock.
