SOL-740 Satellite Orbital Laser

Functional Replica of the SOL - 740 installation from the cult classic anime/manga Akira. No rotors, no pistons. Just a huge weapon of mass destruction.
2cm Beam mod used in promo shots (blue for canon color) and Kreeg's SpinalWeaponry for actual functionality and stability. depending which one you choose it's 25-35km range meaning it can actually destroy stuff from orbit to ground. Refueling port on the bottom as a connector, for easy refill of uranium if you somehow plan to use this in survival.

Works wonderfully with SpinalWeaponry, however IF pasted onto a server/save WITH 2cm BEAM SYSTEM, MIGHT KILL SERVER/SAVEFILE, a reload without 2cm beam necessary to restore.
The build has both mods built in so pick and choose the mod you prefer and just paste it in and it will be ready out of the box. YOU CANNOT USE BOTH without removing one either by removing blocks or by just not using the mod in your world.
It sucks, but there's nothing I can do about this.

It's basically a giant drone. Intended to be remotely used. Find the target, take control of the station and aim. From there you can switch back to character view and guide the laser to the target.

Had to build and rebuild this probably 4 times since the reference material varies a lot in general proportions and detail. This is the best approximation I could get, prioritizing the film version for the most part, and filling in the blanks with what is seen in the manga. I think it is in fairly close-ish to 1:1 scale.

Q: I can't take remote control, it doesn't show up in the list
A: You need a separate antenna, like a small rover etc with an antenna set to range long enough to reach the satellite. Standing within 200m (suit antenna range) will use it as a link and allow connection. Don't forget to check ownership settings too.
Q: How do I use it?
A: Hit K, and select SOL from the drop down list. Find Remote Control - AIM and take over. The camera can be used as general aimpoint, but you might need to do a few shots to dial down the impact point. You're shooting distances of 25+km and may not even see what you'reshooting at afterall. GPS points work wonderfully
