This mod fills out the entire island of Ireland with 18 new nations, allowing you to enjoy a game as an Irish chief that doesn't involve decades of boring colonization.

I'd love to hear your feedback! I personally feel the new names might be a little/lot much, so those might get changed at some point. Sadly patronyms don't seem to be possible at the moment, as far as I can tell. All names in Ireland were patronymic until fairly recently, so no matter what they'll be a bit off.

I don't claim to know the irish language, nor the history of it's people. This mod is a combination of the events of the Ulster Cycle and Ptolemy's Geography from the 2nd century AD. Little to nothing is known about the island outside of myth in earlier times, so much is up to the imagination.

As the mod progresses I will be adding events and characters from the Ulster Cycle such as Conchobar mac Nessa and Cú Chulainn, on the basis that the traditional timing for those stories (the 1st century AD) is a fabrication by later Christian writers to synchronize the births of Conchobar and Jesus Christ.

For the sake of fun, feel free to try your hands at these informal achievements!
