The parent company Variar had made a craft in an effort to survive the decline of the SR racing league. During the concept phase, the racing division was split in half on how the ship should look to appeal to the general public. One side wanted a more elegant chassis to go with the flow of aerodynamics, whereas the other insisted on a more aggressive chassis to ensure survival out in the AG racing leagues at the time. When the argument turned violent and could not be settled, the CEO of Variar stepped in and gave them a concept that established a compromise between the two opposing sides.

After the ship was finalized, only 5 were produced, and the two groups went back to fighting. Due to the continued violence, Variar had no choice but to split their racing division and establish their bases away from each other to separate and ease the hostility of the two groups.

This split racing division would become Varas and Xavier.
