Welcome Space Engineers, to Elite Dangerous!


This skybox is a place directly from the Elite Dangerous galaxy, taken exactly at the Blua Hypa OT-W B33-24 System for those who might be curious.

This is my first mod of this kind, so I'm welcoming criticism & feedback for the visual of this environment skybox.

The current resolution of the skybox is 4096 per side (times 6). The source map I've created from 45 8k images carefully stitched together.

Please inform me below of any bugs or issues related to this mod, so I can address the ASAP. Thank you!

In ED, yes. When you are closer to the galactic core, this is what it looks like. Not in reality though.

Yes the 4k mod size (128MB) is too large for our server as we try our best to keep the mod count and total size as low as possible.
