I'm glad that there are sensible people in the comments. Who understand that it doesn't have to make sense. With the same logic, such people who love "canon" will yell and throw shit at the fact that his favorite trash can has changed color and added a logo.

[In terms of "canon", I mean people who, from the very sight of something wrong in their favorite canon of the game, their fifth point begins to burn.]

Counter terrorists aren't canon to Half Life 2. Or at least, that's most presumable seing that in CS:2 there's a half life 2 sticker, so who knows. Likely it doesn't make sense though, SO STOP MAKING DUMBASS RESKINS!
