Next thing to check: are you flying it with Atmo only, or with hydrogen and atmo thrusters working together?
I don't think it will fly as-is without using the hydorgen thrusters too.
The thrusters are supposed to cut down on the fuel cost rather than completely take over for the hydrogen thrusters.
I'm not sure what "front heavy" means in this context?
The centre of mass for the ship is a little forward, (I think its aligned with the front of the braking atmo thrusters), but that should not be a problem in a game where thruster force is applied through the centre of mass of the grid, and it should fly just fine with a full cargo, if a bit slow to gain altitude. It has been a while since I tested it, but I make sure that each ship with an "AC" in the designation should be able to fly with cargo full of steel plate (the heaviest component) in Earthlike or Alien gravity.
I have seen a few mods that do change this, for example, once where thrust is applied from the actual thruster position instead of centre of mass, are you perhaps using something like that?
Nope, it definitely won't fit the small ship printer, but it is still "printable" with a larger welder wall and a few more pistons.
Maybe 2023 is the year for SE though (I hope!)
Yes I've noticed that issue, but haven't taken the time to open it up and see where some could be squeezed in.
