The Von Erich family produced multiple stars in WCCW under the leadership of family patriarch Fritz Von Erich.

David Von Erich was poised for a run with the NWA World Heavyweight Title before tragically passing away after a bout with acute enteritis while working in Japan.

The Von Erich family was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2009.

Like most of them, Mike died young, but he was only 23 and hadn't wrestled for a little while after injuries. Chris wasn't much of a wrestler, but he seemed to really want to be one anyway.
