描述
The Catfish Utility Shuttle is an all-purpose small-grid craft with high-capacity cargo capability, and room for a pilot and 6 passengers; this build is modless and uses no rotors or pistons, so building from a blueprint is straightforward. The only DLC is the cockpit, which can easily be changed.

Besides seating for 7 that is all accessible from ground-level, the Catfish Utility Shuttle has one large and two medium cargo containers. This craft is capable of both planetary flight using its atmospheric thrusters and space flight using its ion thrusters at maximum capacity without the use of its hydrogen thrusters, so its versatility and flight time is greatly enhanced. No offensive or defensive weapons are included. (Note that this is the first ship I've built that has a cargo capacity greater than what the density of ores can provide, which is my usual design basis; this little guy will carry nearly 200 tons of cargo!)

TEST AT ALL REALISTIC SETTINGS
Starting on the 1g Earthlike planet with mass added in the form of uranium ingots (given the volume capacity of the cargo containers, ores alone did not provide enough mass, nor did iron ingots alone, so uranium ingots were used to achieve the 300,000-kg ascent mass). Only atmospheric and ion thrusters were initially engaged for the ascent, but hydrogen thrusters were started when the speed started stalling. Here's the sequence of thruster engagements for the ascent to space:

- Elevation 1,000m - small hydrogen thrusters ON
- Elevation 2,500m - large hydrogen thruster - UP boost 1 ON
- Elevation 4,000m - large hydrogen thruster - UP boost 2 ON
- Elevation 5,500m - large hydrogen thruster - UP boost 3 ON
- Elevation 11,000m - large hydrogen thruster - UP boost 3 OFF
- Elevation 15,000m - large hydrogen thruster - UP boost 2 OFF
- Elevation 22,000m - large hydrogen thruster - UP boost 1 OFF
- Elevation 38,000m - small hydrogen thrusters OFF
