The PF940 from Insurgency: Sandstorm. Replaces the Beretta M9

REQUIRES THE SHARED RESOURCES PACK
  • Uses original Sandstorm animations, although some INS2 ones were used because of animation length/blending issues
  • Also uses a custom flash/laser model, so this is not compatible with other flash/laser addons
  • Has tritium sights so you can see better when aiming in the dark
  • Has a world model
  • Has a VGUI Icon
  • And yes, it's GGX

Nope, they had to remove the Glock 17 and replace it with the Polymer80 version because of legal issues with Glock.

@el0074 The Polymer80 is a real aftermarket Glock build, with a less steep 1911 grip angle. It's not a "twisted appearance" but an IRL product. (You can also mix a Glock 17 slide and barrel with a Glock 19 height frame, vice versa.) Maybe one of the Sandstorm developers owns a Polymer80 Glock and just likes it.

@el0074 The stock Glock 17 Gen 4 is in Sandstorm. No legal or licensing issues, I imagine. Nowadays, Glocks can be built out of aftermarket parts, just like ARs.

@YES DADDY Legal issues with Glock, therefore the appearance must be twisted in some way. If developer wants the appearance of the firearm to be similar or the same as the model, permission must be asked and licensing fees must be paid in order to depict it and name it as such.

Please make all or most of the Sandstorm weapons. Us who's broke or can't run the game wants to try them :(
