"Endurance" Light Frigate

This is the updated version of my previous ship. I would have updated the old one, but I accidentally replaced the old blueprint.

The „Endurance“ is designed as a multi-purpose combat vessel, serving as a HUB or flagship in smaller fleets and as a support vessel in larger fleets.

The „Edurance“ was designed to master different tasks under different conditions and scenarios, especially combat duties.
I wanted this ship to be affordable with relatively little ressources available, so you can put it early and fast into service when playing in a survival world. Therefor I have build it out of light armor.
I countered this flaw by stacking the armor and placed more weapons than originally planned. Its light armor and heavy weaponry makes it ideal for ambushes and fast attacks and thanks to its refineries and assemblers you can completly loot and scavenge a whole ship at once and use the raided parts to repair yourself and others.

The ship features a pressurized hangar, that is large enough to serve as a workspace so you can repair and develop ships while you are far away from base.
Below the docking ports are welders which can repair docked ships to a certain extend.


This is the first time I tried out this building style, but I think it went out well. I wanted to mimic the ship style of the homeworld universe, so the ships look modern and industrial giving both the feeling of being in a futuristic spaceship and that everything has a purpose and is used.
I might make this ship part of a larger fleet in the same building style.
