People asked for it so I made this non-DLC version of this creation:

This is a concept build for a new type of rover + drone system.
Built on the idea of removing the dedicated flatbed often used to dock drones by making the drone split and be stored on the sides instead, allowing for more cargo space on the rover without taking up much more space in general.

I hopefully have fixed any issues with pressing the wrong button by disabling some Timer Blocks when they should not be pressed and enable them again when they should.

Uses Scrips for LCD's (Automatic LCDs 2 & Isy's ship refueler)

how do you print this on a "vanilla server" ?

So far i have only been admin pasting it in so i can modify it to work with projector fully. I found your MK4 rover/miner earlier so i think i may move on to that. Testing it out right now actually! Love your vehicles dude they are very well made and thought out.

I have noticed that groups and Timer Block settings don't always load properly in projectors so it is possible the docking trigger for example doesn't have everything in it that it needs to run properly. It is rather annoying but can't do anything about it. =(

@FunkyBacon well damn. i did manage to get it to work in a projector so far as getting the pistons to all show :steamhappy: but i am also running into issues with the docking sequence. when i go to dock its either the merge or connector doesnt want to disconnect the two halves OR the one half of the miner doesnt want to reconnect to the rover, making it so when i repack the arms the master half is still hovering.

You really can't build this with a projector without resorting to someone creating a full tutorial for all the piston settings and other things needed to make everything work properly. the Projector just doesn't support pistons or rotors or other subgrids unfortunately, so the only option is to paste in the whole thing manually via the blueprints tab.

so how do you build this with a projector? cant go past the rotor for the arms? also the miner itself.
