Merc-MX1 (SV Class 1, CPU Tier 1, Unlock Level 7)

Primary roles: Starter SV, Survival, Alpha 11.x, inexpensive

Update 11/20/19 - Updated to Alpha 11.x specs. This removed all RCS. No other changes were made. CPU is at 5072 - 100% Efficiency. Also the unlock level dropped to player level 7. The build time changed to 31m 34s from 32m 22s

The Merc-MX1 is the lowest cost Merc SV to date by almost 2x. It is designed to be a good starter SV with a lot of features and to be very inexpensive. This ship does not require any rare or even semi rare materials such as cobalt. It comes with 4k volume storage, o2+station, 4 additional cargo boxes, WiFi, drone hatch, spotlights, and armor locker. It has a 3x1 space set to add a constructor which was left out because of the cobalt needed. On this post you will also see screen shots of the just redone Merc-MX2. The MX2 had a complete overhaul, body changes, color and texture changes, and a new interior with new features. The MX2 post was updated to reflect these changes.

Features Summary:

1. Player unlock level 7
2. Steel Hull, 2 gatling guns
3. o2 + station, 4K volume storage, 1K volume ammo, and 4 additional cargo boxes
4. Room for 1 Constructors, 1 fridge, armor locker, WiFI, short range detector
5. Enclosed cockpit, drone hatch with control switch
6. Good speed and maneuverability for it's size.
7. Sensor based lights, door, and ramp
8. Sensor based doors, lights, ramp
9. Spot lights with control switch

The drone port was too small for the drone to get out, so I replace the front nine roof panels with the non-Automatic door. While standing and looking at the rear door, this allows you to use your drone as intended.Plus it makes a convenient way to get in and out of the ship via jet pack. I also added two T2 M Thrusters on the inside of the back thrusters and this allow for optimal atmospheric entry and exit. Apart from that, it's a great little ship... :batarang:

it needs a massive dose of meth, i look at this as a scout ship, way to slow for that, get in get out thing, but other wise nice for boogien around for quick poi's

love all the features of this ship, but having an issue with internal atmosphere. when i get to space the temp drops and I immediately start getting cold and hypothermia. is there anything I can do about that?

Congrats on a great little SV it is brilliant, I did modify it a bit, and I do also get stuck or clip in roof getting out of pilot seat. But still having a blast with this little beauty. :steamthumbsup:

Your video for making the vehicles are impressive, your a master with all these blocks .. I wish we could have a search function in the blocks / shapes to be able to more easily find corners or all medium shapes.

This ship,like the entire collection is awesome. Only thing is I clip into the ship and get stuck when I leave the pilot seat.

very nice Starter SV

I modified it, to get a multi Crew Variant.
So my Friends and I don't need more than one, to gather the first semi rare Materials.

Hey Purelukk, the way to fix that is to remove a thruster and then put it back. I'm not sure what causes the issue in the first place though.

Great little starter ship.

Unfortunately currently unplayable due to the random loss of control.

Very strange bug. Used it for several hours just fine, then all of a sudden no steering. Will go straight in all 6 cardinal directions but will not turn at all. Will roll very very slowly but that's it.

Logged out and in, powered up and down, turned on pilot mode, flew straight up till I got into space and came back, logged out for 12 hrs, nothing fixed it.

I also have trouble with it losing mouse control, sometimes can get it back by landing, powering off, jumping in and out etc but sometimes I just have to relog completely. Cannot figure out what the issue is.
