Ever wanted to show people what badges you have on while standing still? Now you can!

This mod adds back in the Badge Display back from the beta to show your current badges and also with a new addition, YOUR HAT!

Here is also the amazing people that have helped me with this mod!
Don - Scripts

There is only two known bugs: One of them are that the Power Pon/Electric Pon meter you find in Pink Paw Manhole although it stops the HUD Element from shifting and having the special hint icon next to the magnet badge... after collecting another Power Pon after opening the gate it will shift as if it was there still... I can attempt to fix it but right now I was just not able to figure out how to do so. The Second bug is an issue regarding that hat flairs don't show their icon and their rarity... this is something I will look into for 2.2.

Oh sure np. Just as an update the badges do display correctly after loading into levels or booting up the game, just not right upon swapping them.

ive been working on some rewrites to the mod over multiple days that should address those, but fair warning idk when the update will be pushed out as im busy with other projects atm

I was wondering if it'd be possible to add a option to just show what hat is equipped, since the badge icons don't show the correct badges when the More Badge Slots mod is active. The hat displays correctly regardless of what mods are active.

The hat in the picture is the Dweller's Mask from the Beta. As during the beta the Dweller's Mask was just a permanent upgrade for the default hat.

Funny enough, while the game is called "A Hat in Time". There was only the default hat in the game. The other hats you see in the game right now used to only be badges for the default hat that used to give you different effects like the ability to turn yourself into an invinsible ice statue and ground pound, and there was also the ability to sprint, throw brew bombs, etc.

The mod is cool, but i've ran into an issue with a golde badge mod, that adds more space for badges. It simply won't show other ones, only 3. Would be great if you made a patch or something.

I’ve been trying to look into it as I do too agree that showing flairs is also something I want to add in.

Cool mod, but I think the Hat Flair should change in the Display HUD, instead of the basic ability image

Think you could add an option that, instead of enlarging the icon of whatever's being used, changes the BadgeSlot_Empty texture behind the icon to BadgeSlot, and back when it's no longer being used.
