This stunning Transport Fever mod features the unique and beautiful Class 483, these ex-London Underground trains have been given a new lease of life on the Isle of Wight and are the oldest trains in mainline service anywhere in the UK.

This Transport Fever mod includes:
A Class 483 Electric Multiple Unit in a London Transport Livery

Repaints are subject to Dx1998's approval, currently the liveries missing from this mod are:
Network Southeast
Island Line
South Western Railway "Island Line"
London Transport Red

If memory serves, weren't these slated to be replaced with other former tube stock?

Until a fourth rail track mod comes is released, I see no interest in making other tube stock I'm sorry to say. If one does make it to the workshop, I can assure you there will be more interest in updated tube stock. Until then, It'll be trains that my savegame needs to look the part, and / or preparation for TpF2.

Why does the front windows look so stretched? The cab windows seem bigger than the irl version and the gap between the front of the train and the door seems way too big.

The train is to scale, these units were rather small because they worked on the underground, whose platforms are significantly shorter in height back in the 1930s than traditional overground stations
